How it all started

Just over a year ago, Naomi embarked on an exciting culinary journey by founding La Elotera. Formerly working at a car dealership, she soon realized that the auto industry wasn't her true calling. Instead, she found her inspiration in her Mexican roots.

Naomi's vision for La Elotera was clear from the start: to share a piece of her childhood with others through selling elotes, a beloved street food she grew up enjoying. Starting from humble beginnings under a pop-up tent, Naomi's elotes quickly gained popularity owing to their distinctive taste, quality, and unique combinations. 

However, it wasn't just the success that thrilled Naomi; it was the simple act of handing over an elote to a customer. In every transaction, she wasn't merely selling a snack, but sharing a cherished part of her childhood. This joy, combined with her passion for food, is what truly defines Naomi's journey with La Elotera.

For those who like to try something new, we also offer Elotes you won’t find anywhere else like our very popular Hood Rat Elote which comes with Butter, Mayo, Lime, Extra Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, Chile and Cojita Cheese. Or try our Pink Elote which is like a classic - but pink! 

Refreshing Drinks

Craving some authentic Mexican beverages? Our agua frescas change seasonally and range from watermelon, to hibiscus, and pineapple. Our traditional horchata drinks are made daily to quench your thirst in the Texan heat. We even have pumpkin spiced horchata (yes, you read that right!) in the fall.
